Marcelo Lapella @ Robert Drysdale’s jiu-jitsu Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada

Marcelo Lapella Was born in Sau Paulo, Brazil on September 12th, 1983.

He has been training for  14 years and got his black belt from Damian Maya in 2008.  Marcelo has been Joe “Daddy”  Stevenson’s committed jiu-jitsu coach for 1 year and 1/2. He trains Joe” Daddy” @ Kobra Kai. He teaches jiu-jitsu in VictorVill, California @ Upland jiu-jitsu. His last tournament was Grappler’s Quest World Series of Grappling here in Las Vegas; he took first place at 170 lbs.

Marcelo Has trained with Robert Drysdale since Robert was a purple belt and Marcelo was blue. But, has known Master Drysdale since 2003 (almost 7 years)

Marcelo’s greatest Accomplishments are:

• Mundgial’s 2nd place in 2007

• 4 time Sau Paulo international Champion
